❖ Rohan Bera is an MS Research Scholar in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. He has been awarded the prestigious IndiaAI Research Fellowship by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, under the IndiaAI Mission. His academic journey began with a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani. ❖ His research interests lie in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Data Science. ❖ Prior to joining IIT Indore, Rohan accumulated nearly 3 years of industry experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini, where he worked as an application developer on enterprise applications for clients such as Standard Chartered and Saudi British Bank. His contributions extended to the Centre of Excellence (CoE), where he engaged in internal demo solutions and whitepaper research. ❖ He has also worked as a Research Intern at IIT Kharagpur, a React Developer Intern at Krisko Software, Bengaluru, and an ML Engineer Intern at Webtek Labs Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata. And recognition was received as a Grand Finalist in Smart India Hackathon 2020, where a top-three national position was achieved for addressing the problem statement “Alternative Captcha for Visually Impaired Citizens”, proposed by the Directorate of IT & Cyber Security, DRDO, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
